Babies

We do not recommend giving moringa to babies younger than 6 months due to the immaturity of their guts. At this age  babies may still only be able digest breast milk or formulas.

For babies above 6 months old the World Health Organisation recommends that 10-15g of moringa Oleifera Powder can be mixed into every 100g of breast milk or formula in order to boost the nutritional value of the milk.

moringa recommends the use of 125mg moringa powder per 100ml per day up to the age of 4 years. Thereafter 500mg per day till 10 years of age. A dosage of 750mg - 1000mg per day after the age of 10 years.

moringa will provide the baby with important vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids (protein) which have all proved to improve the development of infants, such as strengthening their teeth and bone growth and healthy development of eyes, brain and internal organs and increased immune system.

Parents should make sure they provide their babies with a reputable source of Moringa - like moringa - to deliver the benefits. Moringa that would be contaminated with genetically modified organisms such as pests or pesticides can be harmful to your baby.
